The Allahabad high court on Tuesday directed the Airports Authority of India (AAI) to install Instrumental Landing System (ILS) at Bamrauli Airport. The court directed the air force to grant permissions for the same.
ILS facilities are already available at other airports of the country. Hearing a PIL filed by Ajay Kumar Mishra, a division bench comprising chief justice Dr D Y Chandrachud and Justice Yashwant Varma directed the AAI to conduct the survey at Bamrauli airport within ten days and report the same to the court.
