Jet Airways, India’s premier international airline, will deploy the Boeing 777-300 ER, the largest aircraft in its fleet, on the Mumbai-Singapore route resulting in a 50% capacity increase on this key sector.
With effect from August 6, 2016, the Jet Airways flight 9W 12 from Mumbai to Singapore and the return flight 9W 10 from Singapore to Mumbai will operate on a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft. Similarly, flight 9W 09 from Mumbai to Singapore and the return flight 9W 11 from Singapore to Mumbai will operate on a Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft with effect from August 7, 2016.
The Jet Airways Boeing 777-300 ER aircraft as a three class configuration, providing guests the option of eight First Class suites, 30 Premiere flat beds and 308 ergonomically designed Economy seats on board the wide body aircraft.
Jet Airways’ capacity increase between Mumbai and Singapore is in response to growing demand on this sector, particularly from business and corporate travelers.
With the introduction of the B777-300ER, Jet Airways now offers a consistent and seamless B777-300ER product right through from Singapore to London and return via its hub in Mumbai, thus offering its flagship First Class Suites end to end. Flight timings from Singapore to London via Mumbai are scheduled to ensure that business travellers and corporate fliers depart Singapore in the evening to conveniently arrive in London early morning. On the return, Jet Airways guests have the option to arrive Singapore either in the morning or evening and also have the option to stop over in Mumbai or Delhi.
