Vistara plans to fly 20 destinations by year-end

New Delhi: Full-service airline Vistara today said it will have a fleet of 13 aircraft and fly up to 20 destinations by the end of this year.

The carrier, a joint venture between the Tatas and Singapore Airlines, has now 11 planes.


"Catering to the growing demand, Vistara now serves 18 destinations with 487 weekly frequencies... By the end of this year, Vistara's fleet will grow to 13 aircraft and up to 20 destinations," it said in a release.

Seeking to provide more flexibility to travellers, Vistara would offer them with the option of flying four hours prior to their original scheduled departure on payment of Rs 1,500 per passenger.
