Jet Airways launches direct daily services from Bengaluru to Singapore and Colombo

Jet Airways recently announced the launch of direct daily flights from Bengaluru to Singapore and Colombo effective from 14th December and will further expand its connectivity across the ASEAN region. Jet Airways also organized a media briefing event on their announcements at Ritz Carlton, Bangalore. The airline will also launch its third international direct daily flight from Bengaluru to Colombo from 5th January 2017.

The airline launched its service with the lamp-lighting ceremony led by S M Krishna, former Minister of External Affairs; Mohandas Pai, CEO, Manipal Global; R V Deshpande, Minister for large and medium industries, Arun Shrivastava, CMD, Syndicate Bank; Praveen Iyer, VP, Commercial (India Sales) from Jet Airways.
The first guest who checked in for the inaugural flight was presented with the boarding pass by Praveen Iyer,VP, Commercial (India Sales) from Jet Airways and Alok Sawhney, GM, International Sales, Jet Airways.

Praveen Iyer,VP, Commercial-India Sales from Jet Airways said," Bangalore is considered as the third busiest city in Asia and the fastest growing city in India. We continue to see growth and investment in Bangalore specially with the young millennial travellers as the potential growth market in this city and the market will grow with the youngers here. Travel patterns are changing day by day and the market segment in Bangalore is at a very rapid pace.So there is definitely growth in this segment.We are looking forward to make Bangalore as the third hub for our services."
