Mumbai: Bird Information Systems Private Ltd (BIS), a technology provider of automated aviation and travel related software solutions has entered into a strategic partnership with Sri Lanka-based private airline FITS Air, for the use of its Airline Inventory and Reservations System (AIRS).
As per the partnership, BIS will provide FITS Air, the booking technology for the Airline Inventory Hosting, reservation at all city and airport offices, call centers and internet booking engines. Further, through the use of AIRS, FITS Air will have access to a user friendly graphic user interface (GUI) which will enable their partners - be it travellers or travel agents - to make online reservations quickly and easily. Travel agencies would benefit from a distribution interface and a unique integrated application by using AIRS.
Commenting on the partnership, Ankur Bhatia, Executive Director, Bird Group said, “We are very glad to come into strategic alliance with FITS Air as it will give us another opportunity to showcase our expertise in providing cutting-edge technology for the travel and aviation industry. This partnership will make online reservations more efficient and user friendly which will in turn help us strengthen our relationships in the entire SAARC region.
