Bangalore:Some irate social media users have started drawing attention
to the flaws at Kempegowda International Airport over 140 characters.
For any kind of public service, feedback is important. But it looks like
Bangalore Airport had it coming. Some Twitter users took to listing out
some of the flaws they noticed while travelling to and from the
airport. On Friday, September 5, Debashis Basu, an air passenger,
tweeted: "Stink from loos at Bangalore airport fill the arrival hall."
The tweet generated quite a few replies from his 6,000-plus followers. One user, who uses the handle @krisangh said, "Lets [sic] hope GVK will also commit some 100 crs [sic] as CSR for loo maintenance and not charge to project cost for AERA's approval". Another user, @AshutoshSinha00, said, "World class airport? Or the loo class?" There were also others who thought that it might have just been a bad day at the airport. User @Prashanth_Krish said, "Am sitting in the departure hall, have always seen better toilets here than in say Mumbai." @KhamoshVIVEK said, "It may just be a bad day. I travel 30-35 times each year to Bangalore but have not experienced this at Bang [sic] airport till now."
