Two fliers caught filming airhostess, escape when plane stops for refuelling

Mumbai: In a mid-air drama, a woman passenger confronted two fellow passengers for allegedly clicking pictures and recording videos of an airhostess on their mobile phones on a Delhi-Guwahati-Imphal Indigo flight (6E 221) early on Tuesday.

While the airline has launched a probe, the two passengers (pictured), whose names have been withheld by the airline, escaped when the passengers deplaned at Guwahati for the plane's refuelling.

The two had, in fact, started recording the video of airhostesses immediately after the flight took off from Delhi around 5.30 am, but were spotted by the cabin crew, which warned them and made them delete the video. The second time around, their act was noticed by a passenger, Angellica Aribam, the all-India secretary of the National Students Union of India (NSUI).

Narrating the incident to Mumbai Mirror, Aribam, who was flying to Imphal, said: "It was shocking, seeing them take pictures of an airhostess on the flight. When I protested, one of them said, 'Aapko touch toh nahi kiya na. Chup ho jaiye'."
