First top exit at SpiceJet after takeover

New Delhi: In the first big management change under new promoter Ajay Singh, SpiceJet's chief commercial officer Kaneswaran Avili has resigned from the low-cost carrier (LCC). Avili, who joined the airline last April, has quit to "pursue certain entrepreneurial opportunities that he has been very keen on," the airline said in a statement.

SpiceJet's co-founder Singh is back at the helm of the airline after he bought out the entire 58.46% stake of Kalanithi Maran and Kal Airways on February 23, 2015.
