NEW DELHI: The Narendra Modi government's penchant for yoga has rubbed
off to the state-run carrier Air India. The airline has introduced yoga
sessions for its newly-recruited cabin crew and pilots that are
currently undergoing training. It is also planning to organise a two-day
workshop for its senior management comprising of the rank of general
managers and above at Sri Sri Ravi Shankar's Art of living Ashram in
Bengaluru.
Every crew member currently being trained has to attend yoga sessions in the morning at 6.30 am, a senior Air India official said. Yoga sessions for pilots will begin from June 1, when their training starts.
