A day after a Twitter user claiming to be from Ludhiana created a bomb
scare in a Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Dubai, Ludhiana Police
claimed to have got him arrested by Jaipur Police after the accused
contacted it. The accused has been identified as 26-year-old Surender
Partap Singh of Banwaspur village from Haphras district of Uttar
Pradesh. He works as an executive of a company in Jaipur and lives in
Dehmi Kalan.
On Thursday, a Twitter user claiming to be from Ludhiana had created a bomb scare in a flight after he tweeted about the presence of bomb in the Jet Airways flight from Mumbai to Dubai. This followed the flight to be grounded.
Surinder Partap tweeted: "Bomb spotted in # Jet Airways 9W-536 from Mumbai to Dubai. At 12:25 from CSIA # Operation Badla." The accused had later deleted the account in which he had 8 followers and 5 tweets including a tweet in which he had claimed that he is also responsible for Vypam scam in Madhya Pradesh.
