Nainital: In a step up for the civil airport in Pantnagar, Udham Singh
Nagar district, Air India started service of ATR-72 aircraft for flight
between Delhi and Pantnagar.
N Subramaniam, the director of the airport, told TOI that French made ATR-72 replaced the older 42-seater ATR-42 with a view to handle the increased inflow of the passengers.
However, the expected increase in the inflow of passengers has not occurred.
