Ahmedabad: Immigration officials at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel
International Airport, on Saturday, detained three Afghanis in their
twenties for travelling on fake visas and handed them over to
Sardarnagar police. An FIR has been lodged at the police station against
the accused Jubiulla Yadgar, 22, his wife Jina Jabiulla Yadgar, 21, and
his brother Habidulla Yadgar, 20, of Afghanistan.
"The relative of the accused , Rehman Yadgar who is settled in Europe, had asked the trio to settle down in Europe. Following this, the three had contacted an agent in Kabul named Haji to get their visas for Europe made. Haji asked for $20,000 (approx) from each of them to prepare the visas. Haji took their original passports and asked them to accompany him to New Delhi to get their visas made. On September 1, the Yadgars and Haji left for New Delhi. Seeking the help of a Delhi-based agent, he prepared their fake passport and visa for India, Israel and Europe," stated the FIR.
