Cargo worker stole tablets

Mumbai: The domestic airport police has cracked the case of 10 missing Samsung Galaxy tablets in a consignment sent about a month ago by Delhi-based Om Logistics to their client in Goa via Mumbai.
In January 2015, Rajesh Shekhawat of Om Logistics realised that 10 tablets had gone missing from the courier sent by the Delhi-based company to Goa from Pune via Mumbai through a Jet Airways Cargo Flight.
He first called an internal inquiry but later, filed a complaint with the domestic airport police on behalf of Om Logistics. The police filed a case of criminal breach of trust by the carrier under Section 407 of the IPC. They started tracking IMEI numbers of missing tablets and after a month, found out that a SIM had been inserted in one of the tablets and traced it to a person in Belgaum, Karnataka. Akhilesh Singh from the legal team of Om Logistics confirmed that the police traced his Reliance SIM to one Saddam Daulatram Khanjade from Belgaum. Mr Khanjade led the police to Vasco Goa resident, Ijrael Sangal.
