Prof. (Dr.) Dewakar Goel, Executive Director, Airports Authority of
India has taken over as Director of Indian Aviation Academy on 20th
December, 2016.
Indian Aviation Academy is a joint venture of Airports Authority of India(AAI), Director General of Civil Aviation(DGCA) & Bureau of Civil Aviation Security(BCAS) under Ministry of Civil Aviation, Govt. of India. It is the premier Training & Research Institute of the country having affiliation with International bodies like International Civil Aviation Organization(ICAO), Canada, Airports Council International(ACI), International Air Transport Association (IATA),) Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) etc.
Prof.(Dr.) Dewakar Goel is a Science & Law Graduate with Masters in Business Administration. He acquired Post Graduate Diplomas in specialized field of Labour Laws from Indian Institute, Training & Development from ISTD and Personnel Management & Industrial Relations. He also acquired India-ICAO Fellowship and Ph.D. in Management under Dr.(Prof.) Sadhan Das Gupta of Calcutta University. He has authored 12 books on Management, Law & various other topics.
